Examining the problems and solutions of beekeeping problems (Isfahan province)

Iran is the third producer of honey in the world with 77 thousand tons of honey, but due to problems, it has a low share in honey exports and income. Therefore, it is very necessary to evaluate these problems. In this study, 15 large beekeepers and 15 small beekeepers were randomly selected from the statistical community of beekeepers in Isfahan province, and questionnaires were provided to them. In this questionnaire, the problems of the beekeeping industry and their solutions were investigated. The research method in terms of variables was the parametric method of descriptive statistics and the method of collecting information was the field method. The collected information was entered into the Excel program, analyzed and the following results were obtained: in large beekeeping units; Under 35 years old, the most; 60% and 22% had university education and no illiteracy, and in small units, the age group was 35-55 years old the most; 47% and 20% had university education and 20% were illiterate. The main problems of beekeepers; lack of support such as insurance, establishment of colonies, obtaining facilities, inappropriate price of honey, shortage; Inputs are transformation industries and production chain of bee products, regional sales centers and export of products, pure genotype of queens, beekeeping trading system. be solutions; The capacity of universities should be used to train skilled and bee expert forces, by creating a production chain of bee products, in addition to solving most of the problems, it will reduce costs and improve the income of beekeepers.
